Take Control of Your Sexual Health with Title X (Ten)

June 5, 2019

School, sports, clubs, and hanging out with friends and family take up a lot of your time so when do you take time to take care of YOU?  Specifically, your sexual health. According to the Center for Disease and Control, young people ages 15-24 account for nearly half of the 20 million new cases of STDs each year.

Whether you are sexually active, thinking about it, or have questions, ACCESS has the resources to help you stay safe and healthy.

What is Title X?

Title X empowers patients to take control of their health by providing confidential services (no parent required) including:

  • STI/HIV testing, treatment and education
  • Birth control and emergency contraception
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Men’s health screenings (ex: testicular exams, blood pressure)
  • Women’s health screenings (ex: breast exams, Pap smears)
