Denise Pedroza Sandoval received her Masters in Education from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor through the state of Illinois. Denise has over ten years of experience working as a Psychotherapist in community health care settings, working with clients who have experienced sexual abuse, domestic violence, family conflict, depression, anxiety, among other important mental health concerns. As a proud Mexican American, Denise’s mission is to normalize receiving mental health services, especially within minority groups. Denise believes every individual deserves to experience inner peace, respect, and overall feel happy. Denise serves her community as an ambassador for the Young Professional Advisory Council for Mujeres Latinas en Acción and chair for the Community Development Committee. Outside of work, Denise enjoys spending time with her family, prioritizing self-care, and traveling. She is fluent in Spanish.
