Rachel Unger completed her physician assistant studies at Yale University and is credentialed through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Rachel takes a patient-centered, holistic approach to her practice and considers all aspects of a patient’s life and health, including physical, emotional, and social factors, while developing a care plan. She builds active relationships with her patients and collaborates with them to develop approachable health plans that fit into their lifestyle and benefit their overall wellbeing. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her children and is curently learning how to play tennis.  

Lisa Neigebauer earned her master’s degree at Resurrection University and completed her post-master's graduate certificate at Frontier Nursing University. She is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. After serving as a labor and delivery nurse for 20 years, Lisa decided to pursue a career in nurse midwifery. She and her patients work together as a team to create an individualized, holistic care plan throughout their pregnancy. Lisa is dedicated to eliminating barriers to health and helping grow healthier families and stronger communities. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys gardening, roller skating, and playing baseball with her children.  

LaShawnda High earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Olivet University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and licensed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. LaShawnda was drawn to community health care because she wanted to provide high quality, patient-centered care to communities that have historically been medically underserved. She prioritizes building strong relationships with her patients and treats each once like family. Outside of work, LaShawnda enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.  

Jenny Lussenhop earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Case Western Reserve University. She is a certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Jenny chooses to work in a community health center because she believes that access to quality, affordable health care is an important step to building vibrant, healthy communities. She is focused on providing patient-centered care and works collaboratively with patients to meet their needs. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys playing with her dog, spending time outside, and trying new recipes.

Lauren Knazze earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her residency in the Northwestern McGaw Family Medicine Residency Program. She is Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Academy of HIV Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Knazze uses a collaborative approach to medicine and works with her patients to create a healthier lifestyle. She believes that health care is a human right and that everyone deserves accessible, quality care. Outside of work Dr. Knazze can be found reading fantasy novels, traveling, and spending time with family.

Mejd Al-Kurdi earned a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Rosalind Franklin University. He is accredited through the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants. As a PA, Mejd works to build positive relationships with each patient and empowers his patients to make the best decisions for their health and wellness. He is dedicated to breaking down barriers to care for his patients and ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care. Outside of work, Mejd enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing basketball. He is fluent in Arabic.

Semiloore Akerele earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in Minnesota after completing her practicum at Mindcare Clinic. Semiloore is an active member of the National Association of Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Semiloore is committed to providing high quality mental health care to all of her patients. She works with patients to create realistic wellness goals that allow them to live a happier, healthier life. Outside of work, Semiloore enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Logan Jones earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from North Central College and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Logan focuses on building strong relationships with patients and ensuring they have access to compassionate, high-quality care. Her philosophy of care emphasizes collaborative, evidence-based health care that empowers patients to actively participate in their treatment and supports their long term health and wellness. Outside of work, Logan enjoys watching basketball, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
