Renee Philson, M.D.
Dr. Renee Philson received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and specialized in Family Medicine after completing the St. Margaret Family Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Philson is Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Philson believes health care is a human right and is dedicated to expanding access to quality care to not only combat the persistent health inequities, but improve the overall health and well-being in our communities. Outside of work, she enjoys trying and cooking new cuisines and listening to live music.
Gary Barsky, M.D.
Dr. Gary Barsky received his medical degree at University of Illinois Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Illinois Department of Dermatology Chicago. He is a Board Certified dermatologist and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Both of Dr. Barsky’s parents were community health physicians and it influenced him to have his own career in community health. Dr. Barsky has a strong desire to educate his patients about the importance of preventive health care to ensure chronic diseases are treated early and managed effectively.

Janielle Javier earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Janielle is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants. Janielle's philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that health care is a human right, and that all patients deserve access to high-quality, compassionate care. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Ellen Seymour, N.P., M.S.N., M.P.H. received her Masters in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her clinical training and practicum at the Baltimore city Department of Public Health and the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Ellen is a credentialed Adult/Gerontology Primary Care provider through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified HIV and Viral Hepatitis care provider. She is licensed by the state of Illinois and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The American Academy of HIV Medicine and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. Ellen believes everyone should have access to quality health care that is individualized, non-judgmental and empathetic. Passionate about public health, Ellen is dedicated to the health and wellness of each individual so the community thrives. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading and watching football.
Laura Halprin, P.N.P
Laura Halprin is a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Her philosophy of care is to provide comprehensive care that also addresses the root causes of health while practicing racial justice and health equity. She believes in empowering individuals and communities through trauma-informed care that is patient and family-centered. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time at the lake with her dog, game nights with friends and family, and testing new recipes in her kitchen.
Oladimeji M. Kassim, P.M.H.N.P.-B.C.
Oladimeji Kassim earned his Masters in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University. He is accredited through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Oladimeji chose to work in a community health center to become closer to his community and give back to those in need of health care. He believes in providing patient-centered, holistic care, taking the time to give each of his patients a treatment plan unique to their needs. Outside of work, Oladimeji can be found spending time with his family and staying active. He is fluent in Yoruba.

David Sode graduated with his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University. David believes in meeting patients where they are at, listening with compassion and working together to empower them in their care. Outside of work, Melva enjoys spending time with her children, listening to audiobooks, and dancing. Melva was born in Veracruz, Mexico and is fluent in Spanish.

Patricia strives to provide exceptional health care with an emphasis on health education and chronic disease management. She believes everyone should have access to quality health care and through education and strong relationships with patients, find the best care plan that improves health outcomes. Outside of work, Patricia enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

She is credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and ANCC. Desiree believes everyone deserves access to quality health care and delivers care by collaborating with patients to create care individualized care plans.

Dr. Vallejo received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Medicine and completed his residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. He is fluent in Spanish and when not working, enjoys dining out cooking with family traveling and reading. Dr. Vallejo enjoys giving back to the community and he believes in a holistic health care approach.

Dr. Kim believes in empowering her patients to take optimum care of themselves, while seeing the patient as a person and not a medical condition. She is fluent in Korean.
