Women's Support Programs

Sistas In The Know

This program addresses the HIV/AIDS epidemic among heterosexual African-American women living in high risk Chicago community areas by conducting targeted outreach and testing, linking women to medical care and referring them to high impact prevention interventions and a range of support services to help them make informed decisions about their health. As a result, women learn their HIV status, receive prevention education, have increased access to care and reduce the transmission of HIV, leading to improved health outcomes.
