Hemlata Meena, M.D.
Dr. Hemlata Meena received her medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She is credentialed through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Meena is passionate about providing women’s health care in community health care settings and helping patients to empower themselves take care of their own health. To Dr. Meena, health is our biggest asset and it must be taken care of to live happy, full lives. She believes women have a unique opportunity to be role models and significantly shape the health of their families and communities. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, meditating, spending time with family, and interior decorating. She is fluent in Hindi.
Tania Nunez, L.C.P.C.
Tania Nunez earned her Master of Science in Community Counseling from National Louis University and completed her practicum at Rainbow House in Little Village working with survivors of domestic violence. She is credentialed through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and is a member of the Illinois Counseling Association and the Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing International Association. Tania chose to serve in community health after witnessing health disparities within her own community growing up. She works alongside her patients to ensure they are reaching their health goals and provides the best level of care to address their needs. Outside of work, Tania enjoys reading, listening to music, and connecting with her community. She is fluent in Spanish.
Sarah Michael, M.D.
Sarah Michael graduated with her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed her residency at the New York University Medical Center. She is a Board-certified psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Michael enjoys being a part of and working in a community so that she can collaborate with other specialties and disciplines to ensure optimal care of her patients. In her practice, Dr. Michael takes the time to truly get to know her patients and loved ones so that she can provide compassionate, comprehensive care that addresses their goals and concerns. Outside of work, Dr. Michael enjoys baking and traveling.
Lorelei Beyer, C.N.M, W.H.N.P.
Lorelei earned her nursing degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is credentialed by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is also a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Lorelei recognizes the difficulty that underserved populations go through to access care, and she wants to help make a difference in that area. She believes in listening to women and tailoring their health care plans to fit their needs and lifestyles. When not working, Lorelei enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and sports.
Ellen Seymour, N.P., M.S.N., M.P.H.
Ellen Seymour, N.P., M.S.N., M.P.H. received her Masters in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. She completed her clinical training and practicum at the Baltimore city Department of Public Health and the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Ellen is a credentialed Adult/Gerontology Primary Care provider through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified HIV and Viral Hepatitis care provider. She is licensed by the state of Illinois and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The American Academy of HIV Medicine and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. Ellen believes everyone should have access to quality health care that is individualized, non-judgmental and empathetic. Passionate about public health, Ellen is dedicated to the health and wellness of each individual so the community thrives. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading and watching football.
Laura Halprin, P.N.P
Laura Halprin is a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Her philosophy of care is to provide comprehensive care that also addresses the root causes of health while practicing racial justice and health equity. She believes in empowering individuals and communities through trauma-informed care that is patient and family-centered. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time at the lake with her dog, game nights with friends and family, and testing new recipes in her kitchen.
