Jamaria Southward earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the Vanderbilt School of Nursing and completed her practicum at the Children’s Medical Group in Atlanta, Georgia. She is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Working in a community health center aligns with Jamaria’s passion for social justice and allows her to provide quality care that eliminates barriers and creates health equity. Jamaria works to provide individualized care that focuses on the whole person and addresses their emotional, behavioral, and social health. Outside of work, Jamaria enjoys traveling, reading, trying new foods, and spending time with friends and family.
