She has experience working in community health care settings and the diverse populations it serves. Dr. Cynthia Mata received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency at Cook County Hospital. She is licensed by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Illinois Chapter. In her spare time, Dr. Mata enjoys spending time with her children, traveling and cooking. Dr. Mata is fluent in Spanish and is dedicated to providing a positive impact on the community through caring for patients with dignity and respect.

ACCESS staff onsite to educate and provide information on adolescent health services available at ACCESS including confidential family planning services, men's and women's health screenings, STI testing and information, and ACCESS a medical home. Referrals will be issued for services as needed.
