At ACCESS, we treat the whole person and believe behavioral health is an important part of one’s overall health. We have an integrated approach to care and our behavioral health consultants work directly with our primary care teams to ensure that all aspects of a patient’s health are reviewed and monitored on a regular basis. If you need behavioral health services, speak to your ACCESS provider and they will be able to refer you to a clinically trained behavioral health consultant.

Motaz Alshami graduated from the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and completed his residency at the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is licensed through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Licensing. Dr. Alshami believes that quality behavioral health care should be available to all, regardless of their financial or social status. He understands the value of being heard and understood and meets his patients where they are at. Outside of work, Dr. Alshami enjoys reading, playing video games, and cooking. He is fluent in Arabic.

She is a certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Jenny chooses to work in a community health center because she believes that access to quality, affordable health care is an important step to building vibrant, healthy communities. She is focused on providing patient-centered care and works collaboratively with patients to meet their needs. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys playing with her dog, spending time outside, and trying new recipes.
