ACCESS Madison Family Health Center Holds Health Fair
August 15, 2017
ACCESS Madison Family Health Center invites the entire community to stop by its Summer Community Health Fair at 3800 W. Madison St. on Saturday, August 19th, from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
As with past fairs, we invite community residents to take care of their health and learn more about the resources available in their community. Along with free food and entertainment, parents can also prepare their children for the upcoming school year with back-to-school physicals and free school supplies (while quantities last).
Adults can also receive free blood pressure screenings, and women will be able to get breast health information and referrals for Pap smears and mammograms. Participants will also be able to take advantage of depression and anxiety screenings, as well as information about treatment and support services for substance abuse disorders. With health fair support from our substance abuse service partner, the Great Lakes Addiction Technology and Transfer Center Network (HHS Region 5), ACCESS is able to bring these needed resources to the community.
ACCESS’ benefits specialists will also be on-hand to assist residents in enrolling into Medicaid and All Kids coverage.
For more information about the ACCESS Madison Family Health Center Summer Community Health Fair, and eligibility requirements for the school physicals, call 773.826.6600.
